American actress Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. She began her career with minor roles in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2002) and She's the Man (2006). In the following years, she was cast in the role of reporter Willa McPherson in FX's show Dirt. She also had an important role in FX's short-lived show The Ex List. She played a young Moira O'Hara in the first season of FX's American Horror Story, and as Kaylee in the season's third. She was Jessie Anderson on AMC's The Walking Dead as well as Sophie on NBC's This Is Us. She also is the voice of a variety of characters on the comedy show Family Guy. She is currently the voice of Melinda "Mel" Monroe the character of Netflix's show Virgin River. Breckenridge was born in Darien in Connecticut. She relocated to California with her mother at the age of 10. They lived in various places for a year before finally moving to Mill Valley. Breckenridge was 13 when she started to develop an interest in acting, photography and singing. Breckenridge moved back to Los Angeles with the help from her mother around the age of 15.
