
Harvey started his career as a comic. Harvey began his career as a comedian in the early 1980s. He was host of Showtime at the Apollo, and The Steve Harvey Show on The WB. Later, he was featured on The Original Kings of Comedy following his appearance on the Kings of Comedy Tour. In 2012 the year he was hosting his last stand-up comedy event. Harvey hosts Family Feud as well Celebrity Family Feud. He's been in the position since 2010. Harvey has also hosted Little Big Shots and Little Big Shots Forever Young. He hosts Harvey's Funderdome. He is an author and has written four books which includes his best-selling Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man, which was released in March of 2009. Steve Harvey Global was Harvey's entertainment venture. It was the home of East 112 productions in addition to various other businesses. Harvey also created Family Feud Africa and was an investor in Anthem Sports and Entertainment's acquisition of HDNet. Together with his wife Marjorie are the founders of the Steve and Marjorie Harvey Foundation, a nonprofit organization focused on improving the education of youth. He is seven times Daytime Emmy Award winner, two-time Marconi Award winner, and a 14-time NAACP Image Award winner in several categories.
