Dina Meyer was born in Forest Hills Queens New York. Just before finishing junior high, she moved out of Queens into Dix Hills Long Island. Her siblings include one of whom is older, named Gregory and a younger one known as Evan. Between the ages of nine between the ages of 16 and 19, her first exposure to the industry was when she began modeling. Her acting education began with The Neighborhood Playhouse in New York and studied Sanford Meisner's techniques for acting along in conjunction with Ron Stetson, for about three years. Others who have received this instruction include Sandra Bullock, Michael Douglas, Jeff Goldblum, Leslie Nielsen, Diane Keaton, as well as other people. After moving into Los Angeles, she got her first lead role in the Beverly Hills 90210. After being offered the lead part on Johnny Mnemonic where she did most of the stunts on herself, she positioned herself as an actress who is physically fit. The agency for talent of Matt LeBlanc that she was successful in securing a regular role in the TV show Friends.
